The One Love Float Fam Jam
Our float family
I am frequently asked “How did you get into floating”…truth is, floating found me. That is what it does, it finds you and then integrates into a lifestyle propelled by self discovery and questing our own personal landscapes.
One Love Float was created in this magic inspired by water alchemy, soul medicine and the understanding we are our own master teachers. The float tank environment is simple – it simply reflects you. It harmonizes our connection to self.
Floating creates the space where the most attractive option is to get real and raw. It presents itself to be seen. It matches you every time with your truth in that moment. Inside the tank, that is all that exists as true connection demands nothing less than being completely authentic.
“One of the biggest things about going into the tank is the story you’ve created around it"
So, I encourage you to get naked!! Get vulnerable. And then, trust the pathway to fall in love with it…and yourself.
We are floaters to our core and want to foster a float community that are connected to their courageous love to shine their rad self to the world.
Float Experience ~ Owner One Love Float, Co-Dreamer Float Collective, Float lover
Holistic Experience ~ Master Herbalist, Holistic Therapist, Shamanic Weaver, Birth Doula, Placenta Medicine
My adventure with holistic wellness began and continues with yoga, from the first class I ever took at age 13 until becoming a full-time yoga teacher in recent years. Providing a means of connecting to my intuition and true inner self, I was guided me to India where I received my spiritual name and personal mantra, "Yog Jyoti" - "holding the light of unity" - which serves as a constant reminder of the light within and the importance of unity on all levels - body, mind and spirit.
When I eventually made my way to Calgary, a blessed soul lead me to One Love Float. Floating immediately captivated me, and the sacred space of the tanks and the One Love community continue to crack my heart wide open.
After a palm reader told me I had healing hands many moons ago, I dropped out of college and registered in the Mount Royal College RMT program. From there I never looked back. Massage has always been with me and its been such a transformative journey. I was very sports and injury orientated for the first 10 years, then I moved into some new careers but always treasured the beautiful gift of touch.
As I have evolved, so has my style of massage, guided now by intuition, energy, love and light.
i love to share my deep passion for healing through the senses with others. In my sound healing work, I utilizes a beautiful collection of alchemy crystal singing bowls, tibetan bowls, chimes, bells and other high vibrational instruments. My work is gentle, intuitive, and transformative. Inherently joyful and generous, I bring a special sweetness to my sessions and when I play, kindness and love emanates from the bowls. Intention with which one approaches healing work is of upmost importance. When I play the bowls, my intention is a form of prayer and this is the real healer.
Why do I love to float?
Womb-like immersion .... Ecstatic stillness ... Suspension of time... Blissful calmness...
Floating is the most the most incredible, soothing feeling I have ever experienced. To be completely suspended and held so lovingly in water is divine. Magic unfolds inside those tanks, layers shed away and anything seems possible.
I’m totally hooked!

WHY JILL LOVES TO FLOAT
Oh sweet stillness. The tanks are the best environment I've found to hold a pain-free and tension-free space; a safe cave to explore my inner landscape, and more subtle aspects of my conscious and subconscious worlds. Each float is different, and reminder to release expectation and absorb what I need in that moment. Dropping into that still, quiet space that exists deep within us is a tranquility that I think everyone should experience and floating is the most efficient method I've used so far to be able to quickly enter and sustain that peaceful state. Mmmmmmmmm juicy.
