Experience with meditation is not required, although is helpful to go a little deeper with the float experience. Within about 45 minutes of limited stimulus on the brain, it will enter into Theta brainwaves, which will naturally bring you into a meditative state. This will be one of the most relaxing states you will experience and will last for hours and even days afterwards. We call this the post float bliss.
Can floating assist with pain relief/pain management?
It is one of the most effective and natural ways to work with your body towards pain relief. While floating, the body enters a restful state and the nerves that sense pain are calmed.
